Having professional headshots taken is something that most professionals do infrequently. The images are used on business cards, websites and literature or brochures that may be in use for several years. You’ll be seeing that photo a lot and it’s important that it be the best professional representation of you possible. It’s important to take care in selecting a professional headshot photographer who specializes in corporate photography.

There are 5 key categories to consider that go into getting the best executive headshot and include:
  1. What to Wear - formal, casual, sporting, sleeves, no sleeves plus more
  2. Getting Ready (1) - How important are hair, nails, clothes etc.
  3. Getting Ready (2) - This is not the time for a refreshed suntan, decide on makeup, will you wear your glasses?
  4. A few more things to keep in mind on session day - There are 7 key ideas that include brushing your teeth!  Who would have thought of that?
  5. Some of the things you shouldn't do on session days - actually there are 10 things so since this is a series you'l have to wait for a few weeks. Sneak peek -  don't do anything that will distract from your face!

3 Bright Ideas For Better Visual Branding During Virtual Meetings

  In the past, I've written a lot about virtual meetings and the visual impact on your brand.  As a  virtual photographer , my eye starts to recognize opportunities for improving how you appear at a virtual meeting.  The tweaks are subtle.   Following are the three next level suggestions for improving your image during a virtual meeting.  💡Color of light. The most common color on an attendee's face on a virtual meeting is yellow, followed by orange. That often means the lights used are incandescent. Solution: Soft white lights are a good solution.
